Unemployment Support Group

Our Unemployment Support Group has become one of our most rewarding and uplifting programs of a regular nature. Born as a natural aid response to the massive hospitality job losses created by the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 in our area, our first intake in September 2021 managed to place 75% of members in different areas of work by December 2021.

Our second intake in January 2022 had an employment success rate of 60%, and we are now well into our 3rd intake, with 20 new members we are trying to assist in finding permanent employment.

The Unemployment Support Group also offers short courses to those who wish to improve their skills and chances of employability.

Please, always keep this group in mind should you have somebody who can benefit from joining us or should you be looking for somebody to employ.

Members must be South African citizens or foreigners with regular work permits or RSA residency papers.

FRANCO has organized Home Management Courses, English language courses, CV writing workshops, job interview role plays and other activities for the group.

We are always looking for people who can facilitate sessions or courses.
